  • Website analytics and non-essential cookies: only with your consent through our cookie banner.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the studio and website, under contracts that require them to protect it:

  • Our website host (Namecheap EasyWP)
  • Google, for website analytics (with your consent), Google Maps and Google Fonts
  • Our accountant, for financial records

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, it is protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

We may also share data where the law requires it, for example with Revenue or in response to a valid request from a public authority.

How long we keep your data

  • Booking requests that do not go ahead: up to 12 months
  • Consent forms and health information: up to 6 years after your last appointment, in case of a later claim or question about your tattoo
  • Payment and accounting records: 6 years, as required by Irish tax law
  • Photos of your tattoo: until you ask us to remove them
  • Marketing contact details: until you unsubscribe

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Get a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data deleted, where we no longer need to keep it
  • Restrict or object to how we use your data
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it

To use any of these rights, email tattoo@rogueraven.ink. We will reply within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are needed for it to work. Other cookies, such as analytics, are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on the site.

Children

We tattoo clients under 18 only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, who must attend the appointment. In that case we also collect the parent or guardian’s name, photo ID check and signature on the consent form, and keep it with the client’s records for the same period.
