These terms apply when you book with, buy from or get tattooed at Rogue Raven Ink, 24A Baggot Street Upper, Dublin 4, D04 N528. By sending a booking request, paying a deposit or buying a gift voucher, you agree to them.
Visiting artists working from our guest spot have their own terms, set out in our Guest Artist Terms and Conditions.
1. Age and ID
Please bring valid photo ID to every appointment.
Clients under 18 can only be tattooed with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian must come to the appointment, show their own photo ID and sign the consent form.
2. Bookings and walk-ins
- You can request a booking through the form on our website, by email or in person.
- A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date with you and your deposit has been paid.
- We accept walk-ins, but they depend on artist availability on the day. We cannot guarantee a walk-in slot.
3. Deposits
- A deposit of €10 or €25, depending on the size of the tattoo, is needed to secure your appointment.
- The deposit is deducted from the final price of your tattoo.
- Deposits are non-refundable, except where we cancel your appointment or as set out in section 4.
4. Cancelling or changing your appointment
- If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please tell us at least 24 hours in advance. We will move your booking and keep your deposit on it.
- If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not turn up, you may lose your deposit. We will consider refunds case by case where there is a genuine reason.
- If you arrive late, we may need to shorten your session or reschedule it.
- If we need to cancel your appointment, for example because an artist is ill, we will offer you a new date or a full refund of your deposit.
5. Prices and payment
- Flash designs are priced as shown in our flash book. Custom work is quoted after a consultation, based on size, detail and time.
- A quote is an estimate. If the design or size changes, the price may change, and we will tell you before we start.
- We accept cash and bank transfer. The balance is due when your tattoo is finished.
6. Your health and safety
- You will be asked to complete a consent form before your tattoo, including questions about your health. Please answer honestly, as some conditions and medications affect tattooing and healing.
- Do not attend under the influence of alcohol or drugs. We will refuse to tattoo anyone we believe is intoxicated, and the deposit will not be refunded.
- Your artist may decline or change a design, size or placement if they believe it will not heal well or is not safe.
7. Designs and artwork
- Custom designs are drawn for you to wear as a tattoo. The artwork and copyright remain with the artist who drew it, and it may not be reproduced by another tattooist or for commercial use without permission.
- We do not copy other artists’ work. Reference images are used for inspiration only.
- Flash designs may be tattooed on more than one person unless the artist has marked them as one-off.
8. Aftercare and touch-ups
- You will get aftercare instructions after your tattoo. How your tattoo heals depends on following them.
- If you have concerns while it heals, contact us. Touch-ups are assessed case by case by your artist.
- If you notice signs of infection, such as increasing pain, heat, swelling or fever, see a doctor.
9. Photos
We may ask to photograph your finished tattoo for our portfolio, website and social media. We will only post photos with your agreement, and we will remove them if you ask.
10. Gift vouchers
- Gift vouchers can be bought online or with cash at the studio.
- Vouchers do not expire.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. They can be used towards part or all of the cost of any tattoo we offer.
11. Liability
We take care to tattoo safely and to a high standard. We are not responsible for problems caused by not following aftercare instructions, by health information you did not tell us about, or by allergic reactions you did not know about. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Irish law, or our liability where it cannot be limited by law.
12. Website
The content of this website, including photos and designs, belongs to Rogue Raven Ink and our artists. Please do not reuse it without permission. How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
